This years Roundup was dedicated to our friend and fellow rockhound, John Deney. John was one of our first MAGMA members and he will be greatly missed. We had a memorial set up for him at the pavilion. I put together a video showing some of the pictures I had taken over the years of John and his friends at various mines. I also had a small display of some of Johns minerals and rocks he collected and his magic rake that he used to find crystals.

My birthday was the 26th and the club surprised me with a nice little party and cake. Thanks Kay for putting that together, it was great!
